Afira Cassimjee is a registered psychologist with over a decade of experience in counselling, psychological assessment, and mental health care. Trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Afira takes a person-centred approach that integrates each client’s unique experiences, personality, and environment with evidence-based strategies for lasting change.

Afira works with people experiencing a wide range of psychological concerns, including anxiety, depression, burnout, occupational stress, trauma, pain management, life transitions, and existential issues. She also supports clients with personal development goals such as building assertiveness, improving self-esteem, increasing motivation, and clarifying life direction.
